ANTIROT clarification

20. 06. 2025

ANTIROT has caused some slight confusion lately, so let us clear that up.

ANTIROT is a design feature regarding bushings/bearings for gears. Our gearboxes are equipped with 8 mm bearing holes, each of which has one indentation. On our ANTIROT bearing there is a protrusion of the same shape. After assembly this shape mitigates any possibility for the bearing to spin in the gearbox shell.

The first version of ANTIROT had three of these indentations/protrusions, but unfortunately few customers complained that their custom bearings are cracking because of the recesses. To help with this issue we lowered the number of the recesses to only one in ver2.

ANTIROT bushings ver1 are compatible with only ANTIROT ver1 gearboxes and are no longer made. If you have a gearbox with ANTIROT ver1 don't worry, ANTIROT ver2 bushings and bearings are still fully compatible with the gearbox.

Plese note, that the gearboxes are still fully compatible with standard 8mm bushings and bearings. The ANTIROT design does not do anything when standard bushings/bearings are used. Of course ANTIROT bushings and bearings have to be used in our gearboxes to fit.
