Questions about cylinder compatibility with CNC gearbox

21. 07. 2019

We got a lot of questions about cylinder compatibility and CNC gearboxes. A lot of you had a problem with installing cylinder into the gearbox. Our stainless cylinders and CNC gearboxes are made to fit together without any tolerance or movement will. This is due fact, that it is a prevention from turning of cylinder in the gearbox. If the cylinder does not sit correctly and turns around in the gearbox, it will cause a leaks of air pressure and cause drops of performance. That is why sits cylinder tightly. Only thing you need to do, is to tighten the gearbox screws and all parts will fits together without problem.

All of our Cylinders are also made with Tokyo Marui compatibility, so this issue will be same with the other cylinder manufacturers.

Just a reminder. Our new generation of gearboxes includes new special made strength Torx head screws TX9. These screws needs to be tighten with ease and recommended tightening moment is 1Nm.
