Popis: CNC Gearbox V3 AK (8mm) - QSC

CNC gearbox V3 designed for AK-type airsoft guns and various modifications of AK weapons, made from a block of the strongest aviation duralumin EN AW 7075 T651, which has a higher tensile strength (590MPa) than conventional structural steel (390MPa). Thanks to the material used, the gearbox has a several times higher service life than a conventional zinc-alloy gearbox. We manufacture the gearbox on precision CNC machine tools, directly in our factory. The number in parentheses (8mm) means the diameter of the bearing hole. For structural and strength reasons, it is not possible to produce it with a 9mm bearing hole.

The package includes: CNC gearbox V3 AK (8mm) - QSC in the selected color variant, a set of screws and QSC spring guide.

We have incorporated many useful improvements into the CNC gearbox V3:

The spring holders have a notch to prevent the spring of the feeder arm and the trigger shuttle from falling out.

The holes for the bearings have a diameter smaller by -0.02mm (7.98mm) so that the bearing does not rotate after installation and the leading edges are chamfered, which makes installation easier.
There is a window on the motor wheel to simplify the adjustment of the engine downforce.
All threads are now formed, they have higher strength compared to cut threads.
Both halves of the gearbox are centered with milled protrusions and grooves.
We added a notch for the reverse latch spring so that it does not pop out during installation.
The outer edges are machined chamfered.
The gearbox has a quick QSC spring change, thanks to which the spring can be pulled out by simply turning the Allen key with the spring mandrel, without the need to disassemble the gearbox. With this solution, it is necessary to secure the spring guide with a screw, which is done with a QSC screw. Otherwise, a situation may arise where the spring guide gets stuck in the spring. This is because of the quick spring replacement, the spring wire is not fixed in the gearbox, but can be pulled out by turning the key. The second option is a fixed spring wire, which does not allow for quick spring replacement, but there is no need to secure the spring wire with a QSC screw.

The space for trigger contacts is modified so that it is possible to install and use common trigger contacts and processor units from commonly available manufacturers, such as Gate, etc.

The CNC gearbox V3 has a surface treatment with protective anodizing, because thanks to the properties of duralumin EN AW 7075 T651, it is practically unanodizable, due to its high hardness and strength compared to commonly anodizable aluminum, ordinary anodizing will not penetrate the material. If this duralumin is not protected by a surface treatment, there is a high risk of aluminum corrosion (large gray spots, sometimes with a moldy appearance).

The CNC gearbox can be installed in airsoft guns in the Tokyo Marui compatible standard. This also applies to internal parts. When installing internal parts or the gearbox itself, never use brute force. When tightening the screws, use a maximum torque of 1Nm, otherwise the wrench will spin in the screw head. It is not necessary to tighten the screws "to the point of bleeding", if you want to be sure that the screws will not loosen, use a loosening thread glue or paint.

You can install any spring force into the CNC gearbox, but it is important to remember that the stronger the spring, the shorter the service life of the gearbox.

!! do not use MAXX cylinder head !!

Installing internal parts into the gearbox, as well as the gearbox into a weapon, requires professional knowledge, experience and skill. It is precisely thanks to the large number of different manufacturers of airsoft weapons, where each manufacturer "invents" its own dimensions and in airsoft there are no standards as we know from mechanical engineering, e.g. ISO, etc., that one type of weapon from several manufacturers can be completely different, both in terms of dimensions and the design of the internal parts or mechanism. Therefore, we recommend weapon manufacturers that list Tokyo Marui compatibility, where there should be no problem with CNC gearbox compatibility.
